Difference of 74LVC1G3157 and SN74LVC1G3157

Hi, Team

Customer uses 74LVC1G3157 from TI for a long time, but they found recently they order 74LVC1G3157 but the part on lable is SN74LVC1G3157.

I know there is no difference in performance, but they want to know why it has 2 part numbers, what's the difference except performance?

There is no difference whatsoever.

Apparently, they dropped the "SN" prefix to be able to add the "E4" or "G4" suffix, but that doesn't make any difference either (all devices are "green").
