LSF output current

Hi Team,

One of our customers would like to know what the maximun output current of one channel is for LSF family. Since the 15mA limitation, does it mean we cannot drive more than 15mA device? Also, what does "continuous channel current" mean, which is shown below? Please advised. Thanks for your support.

  • Hi Leroy ,

The LSF family are passive translators which doesn't provide any drive current of their own.
The abs max table specifies the channel current through LSF to be 128mA beyond which the LSF device could have reliability issues.
The higher the current through the LSF , the Vol at the output is going to increase with the depending on the Ron of LSF.
