LSF0108: LSF0108 data rate

Part Number: LSF0108
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS0104E

Hello team,

What's the difference between LSF0108 and TXS0104E? If customer want to support 60Mbps data rate, bidirectional level shift, does our LSF0108 our TXS0104E support? thanks

Regards,

Nanfang

  • Hello Nanfang,

The main difference between the TXS and LSF translators is that the TXS translators have internal pullup resistors and one shot circuitry for edge rate acceleration. The one shot can provide several mA of current on the rising/falling edges for faster edge rates. The LSF0108 is a passive translator that does not have any sort of internal drive circuitry so all drive strength will need to be provided by the host.

The TXS0104E will not support 60Mbps, max data rate is 24Mbps. The LSF0108 can support up to 200Mbps.

    Got it, thanks
