TXB0108: Pullup or Pulldown resistor for unused pin

Part Number: TXB0108

Hi

I read the following post for the unused pin setting.

 https://e2e.ti.com/support/logic/f/151/t/410868

Then I have simple question.

Do I need the pull-up resistor or pull-up resistor for unused pin to connect VCCI or GND?

If it need, how much is the resistor should we set? (or recommend value.)

  • The TXB has CMOS I/Os, so you can connect the inputs directly to VCCI or GND.
And this device has bus-hold circuits with an output impedance of 4 kΩ, so you should not use any resistors (they could form a voltage divider, and thus prevent the input from switching to the desired state).
