My customer one project used this part and this project has been RTMed more than one year, and their systems run more than one year in the market and have no problem, recently customer feedbacked there are some failure units returned from the thier market.
The max Input transition rise or fall rate spec of our SN74AVCH2T45 is 5ns/V, but the signal of customer's application is about 100ns/V, which is over spec. customer have some problems about this issue, please help to give your comments, thanks
1. If customer can't meet this spec, what's the impact to our part and failure mode? please help to give more detail expalantion about this failure mode.
2. For this returend failure units, it is not very easy to reproduct this issue in the lab, in order to reproduce this issue more easy, customer change the input signal from 100ns/V to 200ns/V, now it is very easy to reproduce this issue in the lab. If this issue is relative with the input transition rise or fall rate spec, why there is no problem for very long time in the market, but after a long time this issue happen? What's the impact of the aging? You know there are a lot of units in their market, and the input transition rise is 100ns, is there any risk of these parts in the market?
