Hi,

we want to use SN74AUP1G74 as frequency 2 divider, generate 48kHz from 96kHz, is it possible? with below connection.

but i am afraid we may lose the first cycle.

Connecting the inverted output to D indeed creates a frequency divider.

The initial output state is undefined. However. that logic symbol is incomplete: you can use the P̅R̅E̅ or C̅L̅R̅ inputs to set the state to a defined level at any time.
