TXB0104: Asking for 1.8V to 3.3V I2S level shift

Part Number: TXB0104

Hi Team,
Customer has the 1.8V I2S output from main chip. The digital amp level is 3.3V.
So could I confirm with you that customer can use TXB0104 for 1.8V to 3.3V level shift design?

Thanks,
SHH

  • Hello SHH,

TXB0104 can be used for I2S. Just be sure to follow the datasheet recommendations regarding trace length and load capacitance found in section 8.3.3 and ensure that the driver can source/sink at least 2mA of current.
  • This might be possible, depending on the speed and drive strength required.

The TXB devices have weak output drivers as a consequence of the automatic direction sensing. In general, when you do not actually need automatic direction sensing, you should use a unidirectional or direction-controlled level shifter.

How many signals? In which direction? At what speed?
