SN74LV123A: About Cext pin

Hi all, 

I have a question about Cext pin of SN74LV123A.

According to SCLS393O version, Cext is connected to GND,
but from new versions after SCLS393P, Cext is not connected to GND.

Is there any change on this design?

Which is the correct connection?
Is there a problem with connecting Cext to GND?

    Hello Toshi,

    There is no change in the design of the device.
    The Cext pin of this device is actually internally connected to ground.
    In the new datasheet, the GND was removed because it is extraneous, it only imposes an additional connection that is unnecessary, however, if you have this pin directly connected to ground it will not cause any issues in your design whatsoever.
