TXS0104E: TXS0104EYZTR - Part Marking

Part Number: TXS0104E

For TI part # TXS0104EYZTR the markings expected per TI spec sheet are either 2HN, 2N or 2N7.

However, the part our manufacturing partner has kitted has a TI label on the pkg but the markings are "67J2NI".

I don't believe this is an issue but I cannot find the Device Marking Conventions for this part / package combination and when I the part marking lookup, I get no search results.

  • Hey Andrew,

Those are probably just lot or date codes from the run it came off of. I'm not certain however so I'll get in contact with an engineer who will know when they get in tomorrow.

    Best Regards,
    Nick
  • Andrew,

I can say with a fair amount of confidence that it is a genuine TI part because it follows the general internal date code for that part and it is a valid code. I have looked into the matter with our internal database and cannot verify the exact number you provided since this requires many hurtles, and parts aren't supposed to be searched for in this manner. Below is the format that the TXS series of parts use and I am not seeing anything that would make it invalid.

    Topside Symbol     : YZT

        +-------------+        Y =         YEAR

        !                    !        M =         MONTH

        ! YMS2N7    !        S =         LOT SEQUENCE

        !                    !        4TH/5TH =   DEVICE FAMILY & FUNCTION CODE

        ! O                !        6TH DIGIT = WAFER FAB/ASSEMBLY SITE CODE

        +-------------+        O =         PIN ONE  (FILLED CIRCLE)

If you have questions or the part isn't working as it should,  just let me know.

    Best Regards,

    Nick
