Hello team,
I am supporting an application to which SN74AC11 is being considered for, and there is the following question:
"I am looking at this part for a new application and on page 3 of the datasheet it states a “Input Transition Rise or Fall Rate” of 8 ns/V max in the recommended operating conditions. The input to this part would be switched at frequency of 20kHz however the 3.3V signal has a rise/fall time of 200ns. Does this attribute indicate that the 3.3V signal must have a rise/fall time of 26.4ns or less? If so what will the part do operating with a larger transition time (latch up, miss a state, increased power dissipation etc.)?"
