SN74LVC1G32: Minimum Leakage Current Spec

Hi Team,

I am looking for the a spec on the minimum leakage current for the SN74LVC1G32 and SN74LVC1G14. Only the Max spec is listed in the datasheets.

I checked the Logic FAQ without any luck. I found a E2E post that briefly touched on the lack of typ. and min. leakage current documentation but that didn't provide much insight. 

I know that often we cannot measure below 1uA of leakage current at room temp so we don't spec the minimum. Is that the case for these devices?

    We can and often do measure currents below 1uA. It's fairly typical to see supply current for logic devices in the 10's of nA at room temperature.

    The leakage current spec is there to help our customers design systems. If a device has, for example, 25uA of leakage current (max) on an input, then it would be a bad idea for the design engineer to use a 100kohm pull-up resistor on that input - just the leakage could produce a 2.5V drop and put the device into an unstable operating condition.

    The minimum leakage spec isn't usually of value in practical design. Can you tell me about the application that has you hunting for this value?

    Thanks for the quite response and correcting my understanding about our leakage current measurement abilities.

    I agree that requiring the minimum leakage spec is not common. However, in my application (small test board to measure leakage current of the system) we would like to add both the aggregate min and max leakage current specs for the system to ensure that nothing is broken.
