TXB0108: TXB0108 1.8 v to 5v is not working

What pull-up resistors are you using, and what is the drive strength specified for the output pins of the sending device?

We are not using pull up resistors.
Drive strength is 2mA.

The TXB is designed to drive a capacitive load of up to 70 pF; for higher loads, you will get much slower signal edges. What are the parasitic capacitances of the 5 V line? How long is it; are there any jumper cables or connectors?

Could you get an oscilloscope trace of the output waveform?

What will be the impact of connectors and jumpers on this path, especially on higher voltage translation? We are using connectors.

If the capacitance is too high, the edge accelerator will not be able to raise the voltage high enough, and the time until the voltage reaches the high level will be much longer.

Can you please tell me is there any correlation between input drive strength and output drive strength?

Only outputs have drive strength.

Inputs might impose a load on the connected output, i.e., they might require a certain drive strength. The TXB inputs have 4 kΩ resistors that the connected output must overcome, i.e., the output must have a drive strength of at least 2 mA (as mentioned in the TXB datasheet).

Due to the same resistors, the TXB outputs have a very low specified drive strength of only 20 µA.
