Hello

actually I want to produce pulse waveform to check the step response of my circuit. for example with 100KHz, 1MHz, 10MHz pulse signal.

I have had some experience with IC 555 other ICs but non of them could satisfy me.

I found SN74LVC1G17 and SN74LVC1G14 useful for this purpose.

page 11 of the below document shows a circuit.

Hello,

This diagram was intended to display the LVC1G17 as the schmitt trigger output device to clean up the signal.

For this type of circuit, it is actually better to use the following device:
www.ti.com/.../SN74LVC1GX04

The datasheet describes the setup, but the frequency generated is going to be based on the crystal oscillator used.
