SN74HC14: VT+ & VT- of SN74HC14 at Vcc=3.3V

Part Number: SN74HC14

Hi Team,

Per our SN74HC14 datasheet, there is a Vt+/Vt- data @ Vcc = 2V/4.5V/6V(DS's page-5), but for customer application the Vcc actually is 3.3V, so:

Could you kindly help to comment the Vt+/Vt- of SN74HC14 at Vcc=3.3V? or whether there is a formula for it?

Thanks & BRs

  • Hi Cheney,
    We use linear interpolation to estimate these values. The formula is: Y = ( Y2 - Y1 ) / ( X2 - X1) * ( X - X1 ) + Y1
With Y's as the desired value Ex: VT+(min)
and X's as the supply value (Vcc)

    At 3.3V, the thresholds are:

    VT+ (min/max) 1.142V / 2.358V
    VT- (min/max) 0.612V / 1.754V
