DATASHEET for the Texas Instrument legacy CF32006FN Counter IC

I understand this is a legacy TI counter chip number CF32006FN does anyone know of this because we still have many of these in our legacy manufacturing equipment. I would like to obtain the datasheet for this counter

  • Hello Paul,

Yes, the CF32006 is a legacy ASIC.  I will have to investigate whether we have a datasheet still available. I will let you know what I can find.

  • Wow quick response! thank you ever so much that would be great.
  • Hi Paul,

As it turns out, this device was a custom ASIC product and only available under NDA to the specific company that ordered it.  As such, the documentation is also under NDA.  In addition, since this is an ASIC, it would have been programmed for a specific function, and we would not have had access to that code, or final functionality, as this would be IP.

When you say "legacy manufacturing equipment" is this equipment that your company produced?  Or is the ASIC in a controller provided by another manufacturer?  If so, I would contact that manufacturer and ask for whatever information they can provide.

    At your service,

    ~Leonard
