Product information related with Lifecycle

This is Joong-hyeok Lee, DMSMS researcher of Leoinnovision.
Leoinnovision is the official EOL(End Of-Life)/obsolescence part manager of Korean Military (Army, Navy, Air force) and PLM agency of many defense industries (Hanwha, ADD, etc.)
Especially, your product has been used in developing TACM(Torpedo Acoustic Counter Measure) detecting equipment manufactured by LIG NEX1.
On behalf of Korean DoD(Defense Of Department), we are checking EOL/status information on the parts of system. At the next year, the TACM equipment will be going to operate. Accordingly, Korean DoD hopes to know the information related with product EOL(End Of-Life) to sustain equipment operation.

Part Number: SN74ACT32DR
Part Application: TACM, CCA(Video Distribution Amplifier)

In case of part obsolescence, our military and Korean DoD hopes to know the information related with product EOL(End Of-Life).
So could you provide me some information of the item?
I need the data below.

If the item has not any discontinuance schedule, please let me know.
Korean DoD will use the information above only for the research and the next purchase.

Feel free to contact me if you have any further information of me and my company.

  • Hi Joong-hyeok,

Why do you continue to ask the same question? My answer will never change.

We do not have plans to discontinue any of the parts in our product group (standard logic), and we will never plan to obsolete a device as long as it is being purchased by at least one customer.

  • Thank you for your constant assistance.

Firstly, I'm sorry that I had too many questions.
We're the official obsolescence manager for Korean DoD. So we're checking availability of those semiconductor for future discontinuance.
You know that many CCA & semiconductor parts are used in a mil equipment system.
There have been many problems for the obsolesced parts in Korea military. So Korean DoD would like to manage the parts' detail related with discontinuance information in case of future obsolescence.
That's why I had a request to you on this forum.
So please understand for these questions.

    Thank you.

    Best Regards,
  • In the future, I would recommend compiling a list of parts, and giving that to your local TI representative - they can get the right people in TI to check for you and it will make things faster and smoother for everyone involved.
  • I have an request about EOL related with Logic IC.

So, Could you provide Korean contact information(E-mail, phone) in charge of Logic?

It is hard to find the information on Korean Website.

  • I am TSR in TI Korea.

And here is my contact (roo.kwak@ti.com). Please contact me that i could follow up your request. Thank you.
