TXS0102-Q1: Slow input transition

Part Number: TXS0102-Q1

Hi team,

I have a question.

In the datasheet,  the maximum Δt/ΔV(Input transition rise or fall rate) is defined as 10ns/V.

What will happen if a slow input transition such as more than 10 ns / V is entered?

Best regards,

Tomoaki Yoshida

  • Hello Yoshida-san,
Fast input edges are preferred with this device to ensure consistent operation.

Slow edges can result in output glitches - the output can be pulled back low again by the slow input after the one-shot has finished firing.

The TXS0102-Q1 works on many of the same principles as the LSF series of translators. If you have not had the chance yet, i would recommend watching our LSF training video series so you can understand how the device achieves translation.
