Hi all

Would you mind if we ask SN74LVC14A?

Our customer would like to add 47000pF capacitance at data Input pins to delay the input.
If it will be problem(rise time rule,,,,), could you let us know?

    Hello Matsumoto-san,

    Adding a capacitor to the input of a schmitt trigger device to delay the response is acceptable.
    It would not be for a standard CMOS input, but you have the right solution.
    The schmitt trigger input adds hysteresis which will prevent oscillations at the output, and therefore prevent false triggering.
