Hello.

I have 2 tasks:

1). Translate 40 MHz signal from 3.3V to 5V

2). Translate 40 MHz signal from 5V to 3.3V

Tell me what are the fastest logic translators I must use to provide minimum delay between ports? Thanks.

Hello Valentin,
The SN74LVC1T45 has a maximum propagation delay of 4.4 ns (A to B) for translation from 3.3V to 5V.

For down-tranlsation from 5V to 3.3V, there are many options. The SN74LVC1T45 can also be used for this, with a max delay of 4.4ns (B to A). You could also use an SN74LVC1G34 that has a delay of 3.5ns max (Vcc = 3.3V). These would be my top 2 recommendations.

You could also go with a resistor divider and use trace length to produce the desired delay.

Where can i see the graphs where is shown translation up or down of data but at high frequencies? For example, like in datasheet of SN74LVC1T45 in figure 12 and 14.

Unfortunately, we don't have this data available for all devices.

The best place to see this would be in your lab on the oscilloscope with the specific parameters for your system.
