SN74HCT74: difference between SN74HCT74A

Hello,

Could you please let me know the difference between SN74HCT74 and SN74HCT74A?

From the datasheet, I understood that the SN74HCT74A is higher switching characteristics version.
And these device is same device. Difference is test specification only.
Is my understanding correct?

When I click the link on TI Japan's website for the SN74HCT74A, it takes me to the datasheet for the SN74HCT74. Can you provide a link to the datasheet you are referring to?

I found this link from the following E2E Japanese post.

According to this post, "A" devices are for Japan market device.

Hi Ryuji,
Yes, that is correct.

It appears that the Japanese version of this device has tighter tolerances at test that the worldwide version. I was surprised to hear that.
