Will you make the device for the SLAVE ADDR conversion for the I2C bus?
The TCA6408A and TCA6416A have not ADDR terminal over 2bits. Therefore, these devices can connect only two devices or less with same I2C BUS.
Of course, there are a method of switching BUS with the switch and a method of using HUB, too. However, there might be an application that wants always to operate two or more devices, too.
If I2C ADDR INTERPRETER like the image of the figure below is offered, the TCA series might become more convenient being possible to apply it also to an existing I2C device though of course it. Though it is a mere idea ･･･
