Hi Mr Maier,

If i enter the reference of your flip flop CD74HCT175M, in your DPPM/FIT/MTBF estimator, it shows that this flip flop have 3.08x 10^9 MTBF.

That mean 97.6 years of durability, it's not a bit excessive ?

Hi Mr JACQUIN,

I routinely hear from large customers that they are shipped millions of units with zero problems over many years of service.

Out of literally billions of devices shipped every year, we see only a handful of returns due to failure -- and most of those fail due to electrical overstress (ie operation outside datasheet specs)

So, no, it's not excessive to me. If anything, it's conservative.
