SN74HCT04: Package Marking Question for Part # SN74HCT04

Hi TI,

A customer of ours has received some Texas devices SN74HCT04D with device top side marking HCT04D  which is not recognised by Texas part number lookup.

We used to receive SN74HCT04D with device top side marking HCT04 which IS recognised by Texas lookup.

 

Can you please advise if HCT04D is a valid part marking ??

    Hi Mark,

    Sorry I missed your post and couldn't get to it in time :(

    The top side marking can be found in the device datasheet and you are right that the HCT04 is the right marking. I do not see HCT04D on the datasheet top side marking. Is there a picture you could send us to confirm and we can move forward from there.
