TXB0101: Application use.

Welcome to the forum. I just want to clarify something, you meant 90 MB/s not 90 Mb/s correct?

Correct i meant 90MB/s through-put. This of course is over a QSPI interface so the data rate should be 22.5Mb/s per data lane. Unless i am overlooking or not understanding something correctly.

You are correct, I just wanted to double check because its easy typo to make and obviously its a huge difference in speed. So for 90 MB/s throughput, you will have 180 Mb/s per data line. The TXB wont be able to handle that. However, our AXC devices can handle that speed, but you will need to control direction of translation. The link below will take you to the direction controlled device page where you can filter out different parameters you would like to find the best device for your application.

Oops did my math wrong you are right its 180Mb/s. (90MB/s = 720Mb/s and 720Mb/s / 4 Lanes = 180Mb/s per lane)

How would controlling the direction of translation work for QSPI though? Since the data is bidirectional i wouldnt know when to change the direction on the chip.

That is the tough part, but since its a flash device you are for the most part reading from it correct? Auto-bidirectional devices can't keep up with that speed.
