LSF0102: About input sequence on Vref_A/Vref_B/EN

Part Number: LSF0102

Hello,

Regarding to input sequence of Vref_A/Vref_B/EN on LSF0102, my customer is asking a question.

(Question)

Do these inputs need to take care the sequence? Or not take care?

Regards,

Tao2199

  • Hi Tao,

There are no power sequence requirements for the LSF family. The EN should be low during power up or power down to ensure a high impedance state.
  • Hello Dylan,

    Thank for reply.

I have informed your answer to my customer and have additional two questions.

    (Question)

・The EN input circuit is designed to be supplied by Vref_B.

When EN and Vref_B are supplied at same time, is there any problem on device?

・Regardless to EN status, before power up (Vref_A or Vref_B) the status of A and B are high impedance.

    My understanding is correct?

  • Hi Tao,

From the block diagrams in the datasheet you can see that we recommend connecting the EN pin to Vref B to properly bias the device, so no there are no issues with that. When the supply pins are at 0V, the A and B ports are high impedance. I am linking our Logic Minute videos over the LSF device  below. I encourage you to watch them as they will be very helpful in understanding the operation of this device.
