what is the difference between TXB0104 and TXS0104？

we use TXB0104 as level shifter from 3.3V to 1.8V, the 1.8V side waveform was transformed, and 3.3V side is square waveform.

while when we use TXS0104 to replace TXB0104 , and both sides waveform are ok.

could you help to explain it?

Hi Jesse,

There are subtle differences between TXS and TXB , although both are from the auto bidirectional families.
I have compiled some differences here in the FAQ section between the 3 families here.

Also, another note which have been also listed in the FAQs is that the TXB is suitable for Push pull architecture and TXS is suitable for open drain interface applicaitons.
the OS also requires fast rising edges and it seems that the input signals have slow rising edges in the design. Let me know .
