Hi,


I'm Just trying to drive a MOSFET ZXMN10A08 through TXB0108 with a pullup at MOSFET Gate of around 50K. During Power ON Condition the buffer goes for Oscillation to 40MHZ. Any clue about this issue kindly help me out.

    Hi Balaji,

    Could I get a schematic and some scope captures of the issue so I can see what you are talking about? Also, I can tell you a few things that could potentially be the issue. The TXB0108 has very low drive strength intended for translation so it doesn't seem like you are using it for its intended purpose just from your short explanation. The other issue is the pull-up. External pull-up or pull-down resistors are not advised on the TXB devices as it forms a voltage divider network with the internal 4K/1K resistors causing incorrect output behavior. It seems to me like you need a buffer driver for this application.

    Hi Dylan,
    Thanks for your note., As you said the buffer is not intended to derive the load. I'm rewiring my circuit with open drain Buffer.
