Hello,

I've been having some trouble with the SN74AVC8T245: https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface/voltage_level/f/391/t/697269

I'm planning on migrating to the SN74LVC8T245 and have the same question.    What's the minimum VCCx at which the part will operate?

    Hi Donald,

    The same answer applies to this device with the exception that the min VCC spec is 1.65 V instead of 1.2 V. I recommend migrating to the new SN74AXC8T245 instead of the SN74LVC8T245 (unless you are trying to translate up to 5 V). This device offers better power on glitch performance, faster data rate, and has a wider VCC range than the SN74AVC8T245.
