TXB0104-Q1: Port A/B Output Current Capability

Part Number: TXB0104-Q1

HI,

In my deisgn , VCCB is connected to 5V and VCCA to 3V. Both the Power will not be active all the time.

Only after VCCB is ON , the VCCA will get powered ON.

But the OE pin is pulled directly to VCCA in my deisgn. Should I consider to pull down the OE pin since during power up or power down, the ouput should be in high impedence?

Regards

Gayathri

  • Hi Gayathri,

It is only a recommendation from our side to have the OE pin to be pulled down but not a requirement.
There are schematics which have the OE tied directly to Vcca to always have this enabled.
However, OE pulldown with a weak driver wouldn't hurt and will ensure that the device will remain in highZ before being overdriven by the OE signal.
