LSF0204: skew data

Part Number: LSF0204

Hi all!

There is no specification of skew in the LSF0204 data sheet.

However I found below post which mentioned that "The guaranteed skew for any of our logic devices is 1ns into equal loads."

Can I use this skew data for LSF0204?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Toshi

  • Hello Toshi-san,
The LSF0204 is not an active device, and thus does not have a skew spec. I would recommend watching the video series on how the LSF works located here: training.ti.com/LogicMinute

The difference in delay between channels will be heavily dependent on the application. For example, if one channel is up-translating to a 30pF load with a 10kohm pull-up resistor, and another is up-translating to a 5 pF load with a 330 ohm pull-up resistor, I would expect to see a very significant difference in the delays.

If everything is equal, the difference should be extremely minimal - I would expect < 100ps difference between channels.
