LSF0108: About the ron value

Part Number: LSF0108

Hi team,

I think that the ron value of Vref_A=1.8V and Vref_A=2.5V described on page6
on the data sheet are opposite.

Is my thinking wrong?

Sincerely,
Tsuyoshi Tokumoto

  • Tsuyoshi Tokumoto san,

I believe that the Vi was at 1.8V for the 2nd condition, but I do not see that specific values listed on the datasheet. The LSF ron specs are the typical values which are mentioned in the datasheet and are not guaranteed across devices.
  • Hello Shreyas-san,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

The data sheet indicates that the ron value(=10Ω) at
Vref_A=1.8V(Vi=0,Io=32mA) is lower than the ron value(=15Ω) at
       Vref_A=2.5V(Vi=0,Io=32mA).

I understand the gate voltage of internal FET is biased to Vref_A+Vth.
In addition,I understand that if the other measurement conditions are
the same, the higher the gate voltage is, the lower the ron will be.

From the above,I think the ron value at Vref_A=2.5V is lower than the ron value
       at Vref_A=1.8V.

        Is my thinking wrong?

    Thank you and best regards,
    Tsuyoshi Tokumoto

  • Hi Tsuyoshi san,

    Yes, your understanding is correct.
  • Hi Shreyas-san,

      I appreciate your quick response.
My question has been cleared up!

    Thank you and best regards,
    Tsuyoshi Tokumoto
