SN74ABT541B: Max Total Output Current Spec?

Hello Team,

SN74ABT541B IO (Current into any output in the low state) max is 128mA as shown in ds page 3.

May I know if there is a total current maximum spec for the 8-ch buffer? The total current flows through VCC or ground path.

    It is generally a bad idea to operate a part at or near the absolute maximum ratings. I would recommend sticking with the recommended operating conditions, which would make the maximum 64 mA per channel, or 640 mA total.

    Note that the device is only rated for latch-up to 500mA, so I would recommend staying below that value.

    Additionally, this amount of power will cause a significant temperature increase in the device (likely 60C or more). Be sure the factor thermal dissipation into the design. The maximum junction temperature is 150C.
