SN74LVC2T45: Switching Characteristics and Input transition rise or fall rate mismatch

Hello

I need clarification on the data of the Input transition rise or fall rate.

The data is 5ns/v so in a 5V Vcc its meen 25ns rise time to my understanding.

In the Switching Characteristics section the time is less then the calc , why?

There's a detailed definition for the input transition rise or fall rate located here: Understanding and Interpreting Standard-Logic Data Sheets (page 31)

In short, the input transition rate refers to the incoming signal to the SN74LVC2T45 and is unrelated to the switching characteristics section.

The switching characteristics section of the datasheet explains the input to output transition delay specifications, and is explained in detail on page 50 of the above linked document.
