Dear Team,

I am using Voltage level translator of part TXB0108DQSR in my design.

The power rail VCCB is always supplied and VCCA is occasionally powered ON and OFF.

Is it okay to provide one of the supply rail (VCCB) even though the OE is low (I/O is in high impedance state)?

If the output of the level translator is driven by the processor even though the OE is disabled, will this condition create an issue?

Nibin,

TXB supports Ioff partial power down condition wherein the device IO ports are in HiZ when either one of the supply is at gnd.
The Vccb powered on is fine if the Vcca is off(gnd). Since OE is referenced to Vcca and is low, it is fine.
what is the status of the IO ports in this case?

Dear Shreyas,

The status of the IO port can be in high or low condition.

If the status of the IO port is in high logic state, please let us know whether it will create issues?
