SN74LVC8T245: How to Handle /OE pin during Power-up or Power-down

Hi,

There is mentioned in SN74LVC8T245 data sheet that "To ensure the high-impedance state during power up or power down, OE should be tied to VCC through a pullup resistor".
What are the concerns during power up or power down if connecting DIR to GND or VCCA and connecting /OE to GND ?

Hi Kato,

The concerns would be the device being active during power up. This could lead to unwanted outputs if there are signals at the input during power up.
