Hey Valeriy,

These are real parts and manufactured by TI.
The 83D6V5K part was manufactured in March 2018 and the 83CL6RK part was manufactured in February 2018.

Thanks for your reply.
In the received batch of these microcircuits the conclusions are very strongly oxidized and they are not soldered, so there was such a suspicion.

Hey Valeriy,

There is nothing wrong with the received batch. They are supposed to look like that. TI has changed to a roughened lead frame for the parts because these adhere to solder much better. For this reason it looks like the parts are oxidized.

Unfortunately, the conclusions of microcircuits, which we have poor wettability with solder during soldering and this is not allowed by the standard IPC/EIA/JEDEC J-STD-002!

Roughened leadframes are an improvement in older leadframe technology and provide improved solder adhesion.

If you are having problems with soldering these components, please start a failure analysis (FA) with your supplier so that we can determine the root cause and prevent future issues.
