TXB0108: Is there any limitation of OE signal rising/falling rate?

Part Number: TXB0108

 Hello guys,

One of my customers is evaluating TXB0108. They have a question as the follow.

Ques: Is there any Min/Max limitation of OE signal rising/falling rate? Is it a problem if OE signal rising/falling rate is 10us/V or 100us/V?

Your reply would be much appreciated.

 Best regards,

 Kazuya Nakai.

  • Hey Kazuya,

There is a max limitation to the input transition rate. This can be found in the recommended operating conditions section of the datasheet as shown below.

The input must be at least 30ns/V if not faster for operating range of 4.5 to 5.5 V. This means that the 10us/V will be a problem.

Here are a couple of app notes to know more about slow inputs. You might want to use a device that has Schmitt trigger functionality.

    Thanks!
