TXS0206A: Partial-power down for SDIO buffer application

Part Number: TXS0206A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS0206, TXS0102

Hi team,

I'm considering to use TXS0206A as a buffer for isolating between the CPU and SD Card side when either system is power off. So, I will use the device in the condition of VccA = VccB in normal operation.

To achieve that, I'm going to use partial-power down function. Looking at the application report "scea044"for TXS family, it seems that the device has a partial-power down function. But, I'm not sure that TXS0206 has the partial-power down function because the datasheet does not mentioned about the function.

Could you check whether TXS0206 has partial-power down function? If it has the function, how much the IOZ is?

Regards,

Saito

  • Hello Saito-san,
I have asked our translation expert to take a look at this post. He should be back with you tomorrow.
  • Hi Saito,

The TXS0206A doesnt have the Ioff feature listed in the datasheet.
The identification of the Ioff feature can be done using the electrical characteristics table which will have the Ioff spec mentioned, if not already listed in the features section of the first page.
You could consider using the TXS0102 device which has it.
