Sorry to bother you.

We are survey Binary to 7-segment and find SN74LS47

We would like to show that 10 is A, 11 is B...

Looks 47 is not suitable solution, right??

The only seven-segment driver with hex digits that is still made today is the ICM7218, which is probably not what you want.

Nowadays, you'd use a microcontroller. (For a single digit, the MSP430FR2000 would be enough.) Or, if you want many digits with a small µC, shift registers.
