TXS0108E: May I have some question regarding the part application?

Dear SIR:

(1)May I have some question regarding the part application TXS0108E ?

As datasheet mention as below:

1.2 V to 3.6 V on A Port and 1.65 V to 5.5 V on B Port (VCCA ≤ VCCB)

We want to know ,That "port" meaning "include pin A1 ,A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7,A8 ,B1 ,B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7,B8 )?

If  VCCA pin is 1.8V  ,VCCB pin is 3.3V

Pin A1 ,A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 ,A8  signal  is 1.8V 

Pin B1 ,B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7,B8  signal  is 3.3V 

change to below  condition : TXS0108E will Work Normally or not ? (nr any advice ?)

VCCA pin is 1.8V  ,VCCB pin is 3.3V

Pin A1 ,A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 ,A8  signal  is 3.3V 

Pin B1 ,B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7,B8  signal  is 3.3V

    Hi Alex,

    Port A: all pins with A
    Port B all pins with B
    You can't put in a signal higher than than VCCA on the A port so this wouldn't work.

    Is that your detail meaning as below ? :

    If  VCCA pin is 1.8V  ,VCCB pin is 3.3V

    Pin A1 ,A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 ,A8  signal  is 1.8V 

    Pin B1 ,B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7,B8  signal  is 3.3V 

    change to below  condition : TXS0108E will Work abnormally.

    change to below  condition : TXS0108E will Work Normally ,too.

    VCCA pin is 3.3V  ,VCCB pin is 3.3V

    Pin A1 ,A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 ,A8  signal  is 3.3V 

    Pin B1 ,B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7,B8  signal  is 3.3V

    Hi Alex,

    I'll keep it simple. If VCCA is 1.8V, you can't input anything higher than 1.8V on the A pins. If you want to supply VCCA with 3.3 V and input 3.3 V then that is fine.
