Here’s list of requirements for an ADC data buffer that my customer needs:
1.) Can either be one 32bit buffer IC, or two 16bit buffer IC’s (Note: Two 16bit buffers are somewhat preferred).
2.) In/Out frequency is 96MHz.
3.) In/Out Signal Type is CMOS @ 1.8V, and is unidirectional.
4.) Low power & 1.8V supply.
5.) Variable propagation delay desired (integrated PLL), or maybe a non-PLL, low propagation delay part might work (in the 2nsec to 6nsec range).
6.) Tiny package is desired (maybe BGA, but no less than .8mm ball pitch)
7.) -40 to +85C temp range
P.S. If you don’t have anything that exactly fits these requests, then if you find something very close, then I’ll take a look at it.
