Hi team,

For SN74AVC8T245 or SN74AVC16T245 unused input pins, could customer connect them together, then pull-up to VDD or pull-down to GND?

Or do they have to separately pull-up/down every unused input pins?

    Hi Luke,

    how many unused pins are there? Do you have a schematic to share? wanted to see f there are other options to replace to reduce the unused inputs/outputs.

    Have the customer considered using SN74AXC8T245 device?

    connecting it together and having it pulled to either supplies is recommended. The AXC8T245 have weak internal pulldown which can be helpful in this case.
