CD74HCT132: Counterfeit parts ?

Part Number: CD74HCT132

I have multiple PCB that have problem with NAND gate. I didn't made a extensive debug on the card but I notice the marking on the chip is not the same on all PCB.

Not the same "font" and not the same logo.

Is it possible that this chip are not TI genuine part ? How I can verify that ?

Hi M. Maier,

We get the part with the PCB manufacturer in Canada but assembled in China. The PCB manufacturer told me that all the parts are coming from Digikey, Future Elec or Avnet but I have some doubts.

Did you check for these parts ?

Hey Marc,
Both of those devices have valid lot trace codes and were very likely produced by TI.
