TXS0108E: using in I2C and SWD application at same time

Hello,

I have an application where i need to convert from 3.3V to 1.8V logic levels. The signals i need to convert are I2C, USART and SWD at the same time. Is it possible to it with this IC?

Also, what is the difference between TXS0108 and TXB0108?

Hello Rohit,
The TXS0108E is probably the best option if you want to combine different protocols, but I'm not familiar with USART or SWD. I would need to know their architecture and bit rate to give you definitive answer.

I need to interface the STM32F103 with NRF52. STM32 will be running at 3.3V and the NRF52 at 1.8V.

Bit-rate? Measured in bits per second

SWD is push pull at about 4.5Mbps
UART at 115200kbps push pull and
I2C 400Kbps, open drain.

Those will all work fine without problems on the TXS0108E - assuming the capacitive loading isn't too crazy (< 70pF)
