- For content reference we have historically been using the SN (CCLLC package) version on the CD54AC161F3A (CerDip) and are seeing some higher current measurements.
- Operating voltage is +5 VDC
- SN54AC 161 (CCLLC) current draw 10-15 mA
- CD54AC161F3A (CerDip) is in our new design and being used for an identical application, but these chips are drawing ~25 mA.
- We were told that both packages are identical dies.
- Can you speak to any idea of why the CD chip would draw more current?
- Has there been a Fab change where these parts are manufactured?
- Has there been any process changes?
