Is SN74LVC1G123 & SN74LV123A a proper Schmitt trigger? Or is this Schmitt trigger action only?

I am asking this as there is no listed dt/dV maximum specified. We want to be able to use this with very slow input rates

Hello Ken,

Yes, those devices are Schmitt-trigger inputs and not just Schmitt-trigger action. The LVC1G123 only has Schmitt-trigger inputs on pins A and B and not on CLR. While the LV123A has Schmitt trigger inputs on A, B and CLR pins. You can use this device for slow input rates. We do not have the specs for the Schmitt-trigger inputs for these parts.

Thank you for reply. 1 more question, is Cext pin internally grounded?
Normally this pin is recommend to be grounded externally but not mentioned in the datasheet.

The Cext pin is internally grounded which is why the datasheet does not mention grounding that pin.
