TXS0104E: Timing spec from Power Up to OE"H"

Part Number: TXS0104E

Dear Specialists,

My customer is considering TXS0104 and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

---

As shown in the data sheet,
To ensure the high-impedance state during power up
or power down, OE should be tied to GND through a
pulldown resistor

What is the minimum time from when VCCA / VCCB rises up to OE goes high?

---

I appreciate your great help in advance.

Best regards,

Shinichi

  • Hi Shinichi,

I am not completely understanding your question. However from what I understood you are asking, once VCCA/VCCB rise up to their active state, how long do you have to wait before using the I/O pins. There is no wait time. As soon as the VCCA/VCCB are in the active region, the OE pin and the other I/O pins can be utilized.
Here is an appnote on the operation of the power up 3 state circuitry. www.ti.com/.../szza033.pdf

    Thanks!

  • Hi Karan,

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand when VCCA/VCCB are in the active region, the OE pin and the other I/O pins can be used.

I'll share your suggestion with the customer.

    I appreciate your great help.

    Best regards,
    Shinichi
