SN74LVC2G17: How to set the trigger point to make output H or L

Part Number: SN74LVC2G17

I am looking for a dual Schmitt Trigger w/ adjustable trigger point. However, TI seems to has no the regarding product. I am not so sure.

I have several question, please help me to figure out. Thank you.

1. About SN74LVC2G17, my understanding is the trigger point is a range based on Vcc power level. If Vcc is 3.3V, the trigger point range of VT+ and VT- would be btw Vcc 3V and Vcc 4.5V. Correct?

2. Whether I can set a fixed trigger point, not a range. Otherwise, this trigger point can be adjusted because I still need to fine tune the fixed trigger point.

  • Hello,

    1. Yes, the LVC2G17 has its trigger point range of VT+ and VT- at 3.3V between the 3V and 4.5V Vcc listed in the table.

    2. The fixed trigger points on this device are not meant to be changed. There is a range given since all the parts will have their thresholds somewhere in that range. If you post on the op amps page to ask if they can help you find some solution with an amplifier so that you can set fixed thresholds. This would not be possible with a logic gate.

    Thanks!
