SN74LVC2G74QDCURQ1 negative input

I will have a negative voltage input (about -1V) when using the CLK angle of the SN74LVC2G74QDCURQ1. Is it allowed? Is there a negative protection or restriction if the limit is exceeded? For example, current <1mA?

    That info is shown in the abs max table which I am providing below.

    You violate the abs max input voltage by doing this. However, if you read the notes, you will see that this can be done as long as the current is limited to stay under input clamp current rating.
