SN74AUP1T86: Help to check if there is leckage risk for SN74AUP1T86

Hi Team, my customer would like to use SN74AUP1T86 but would like to understand if there will be current leckage at input A (from Vcc) when there is no input but there is Vcc connected. My customer found issue in DIP package before. Thanks

Hi Helios,
The leakage specification for the device is in the Electrical Characteristics table. Up to 0.5uA can leak into/out of the input.

HI Emrys, thanks for prompt feedback. one more check that will we see voltage at A or B when there is no input but Vcc is connected?

Are you talking about leaving the input floating? Because you shouldn't ever do that with a CMOS device.... If this is the case, it's best to add a large pull-down resistor (typically between 10k and 100kohms) to keep the input LOW while not in use.
